Kate Peters is a musician/actor with a life-long career in opera, musical theater, and commercial studio work. She has premiered over thirty new works of classical and/or avant-garde music including the critically acclaimed Bones of Love and the one-woman show, produced by the American Music Theater Festival, Old Aunt Dinah’s Sure Guide to Dreams and Lucky Numbers. She is the executive director of Team Cabaret, a youth arts program that encourages healthy self-expression by providing a safe place for young people to share what has heart and meaning through story and song – and be applauded for it.


Equally at home in concerts as well as stage productions, Kate is a 1998 Eugene O’Neil Cabaret Fellow and has performed around the country including Founders Hall at the Orange County Performing Arts Center and at the world famous Cinegrill, located at the Los Angeles Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
