Lisa Keating


Ms. Keating sang the role of "the Baroness" in the sold-out New York premiere of Duel, an original adaptation of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Grand Duke, and the role of "Constance Wilde" in The Importance of Being Wilde, by Lieber and Stoller. Last June she enjoyed an engagement at the Paradise Jazz Festival in Huatulco, Mexico, but she has also toured the US and mexico with Purgel, an operatic comedy prduced by Kathy Bates, and played "Ida" in Methusalem, directed by Tim Robbins, as well as an award-winning "arsinoe" in The Misanthrope, directed by Mel Shapiro. her work has included roles on Roseanne, Designing Women, and Love and Marriage. Her program includes jazz and light blues, with a focus on interesting lyrics and complex melodies.
