Malcolm Gets

In 1998, while on hiatus from his role as the angst-ridden "Richard" on NBC's Caroline in the City, Mr. Gets also starred in the musical, My New Brain, written by Bill Finn (Falsettos) and directed by James Lapine at the Lincoln Center. He won an Obie Award and a Drama Desk nomination as Best Actor in a Musical in the York Theater Company's revival of Merrily We Roll Along, and won a second Obie and the St. Clair Bayfield Award for Outstanding Classical Performance for his work in Two Gentlemen of Verona at the Delacorte Theater in New Yorl's Central Park. A graduate of Yale Drama School, he portrayed F. Scott Fitzgerald in the feature film, Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle, and is an accomplished musician who once aspired to be a classical pianist, working his way through college playing piano.
