Rod Klappholz


Since 1997 Rod Klappholz has been a regular on the New York cabaret scene. Most recently Rod has been a featured entertainer at Danny's Skylight Room, Rose's Turn and Don't Tell Mama where his two solo cabaret shows: "I Know Something About Love" and "Almost Home" played to packed, enthusiastic houses. New York audiences may have also seen as leather-clad rock star Conrad Birdie in "The All-Male Bye Bye Birdie" at Rose's Turn in Greenwich Village while audiences coast-to-coast enjoyed Rod's performance in the National Touring Company of Ronnie Larsen's "Making Porn" A student of Betty Buckley, Rod contributed backing vocals on the song "Stepping singer / songwriter Clare Cooper and Kevin Scott Hall's latest Christmas release.
