A giant talent not to be missed! Ms. McNight's played from Moose Hall to Carnegie Hall, from San Francisco to Berlin. Her Broadway debut in 1989's "Starmites" garnered her a Tony Award nomination for Best Leading Actress in a Musical and a Theatre World Award for Outstanding Broadway Debut. She won the Bay Area Critics Circle Award for Best Performance in a Musical as Sister Hubert in "Nunsense" and Drama-Logue named her one of the top ten cabaret performers of the year. Her most recent tour de force, THE SOPHIE TUCKER SONGBOOK, that began as a 55-minute, one-woman show is now a two-hour piece called RED HOT MAMA. Of this show, Don Heckman of the L.A. Times wrote, "McNight gives a performance of a lifetime...belting with crystal-breaking authority and then pulling her readings down to intimate, hypnotically compelling whispers..a must see!"
