Enda Markey was born in Dublin.



He trained on a scholarship to Laine Theatre Arts in London on the Musical Theatre Course.



He made his professional debut in A CHILD'S CHRISTMAS IN WALES at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin. His numerous other theatre credits include FOLLIES with Lorna Luft, Dave Willetts and Millicent Martin (Dublin), Rick in A SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT (Dublin/London), Jack in JACK AND THE BEANSTALK (Dublin), principal soloist in STAGE BY STAGE (Dublin/Irish tour), AMONG FRIENDS (Dublin), ENTERTAINERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE (Dublin), BEING ALIVE: A Tribute To Stephen Sondheim (Dublin), THE CRUISE IN COMPANY (Dublin) and ENDA MARKEY IN CONCERT (Dublin). Enda is also the youngest person ever to star in a production of SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, appearing alongside Rebecca Storm and Brendan O'Carroll, at the Temple Bar Music Centre in Dublin.



Enda released his debut solo album, ANOTHER PLACE AND TIME earlier this year and has recently returned from a promotional tour of Australia where his credits include ENDA MARKEY IN CONCERT at Chapel Off Chapel in Melbourne, two appearances on THE DENISE SHOW for Channel Seven. He also made a special guest appearance at THE ALBURY in Sydney.



Television appearances include THIS LIFE for BBC, BLACKBOARD JUNGLE and SCRATCH SATURDAY for RTE and THE ENTERTAINMENT REPORT for TV3.
